In efforts of securing a MLS bid for Football Club Cincinnati, MEIS unveiled the designs for a provocative new soccer-specific facility for the dynamically popular ULS team. Though the site location is still to be confirmed, the current design of the U-shaped bowl frames a dramatic view of downtown Cincinnati on the proposed location across the Ohio River in Newport.

The future home of FC Cincinnati will seat 25,000 with capacity for future expansion to 30,000 plus, and all seats will be sheltered under an ETFE canopy lit by color-changing LEDs. The New Bailey, the home end of the club’s supporter’s groups, will have a capacity of up to 8,000 in a great single tier behind the home goal, and a tight, steep seating bowl will ensure fans are as close as possible to the sidelines for a dominating home-pitch advantage. Berm seating in the open end of the enclosed horse-shoe shape of the stadium will lay against a tight dramatic backdrop, providing an unparalleled MLS experience for fans and players alike.
